Bing and Microsoft have ongoing research projects and internal research on misinformation risks in image generation services, generative AI in elections, and other important topics.

Ongoing review of researcher feedback and requests may result in additional measures and resources.

In addition, Microsoft Research regularly explores potential partnerships with third party research institutions and discusses potential misinformation and disinformation related research that may leverage Bing data with research institutions. Microsoft’s internal research divisions also regularly initiate and support research relevant to misinformation and disinformation and further research may be released in the next reporting period.
