Demagog
Demagog Association is the first Polish fact-checking organization. Since 2014 Demagog’s activities focus on verifying politicians’ statements, false information with the aim of reducing the spread of fake news in social media. Our main goal is to improve the quality of public debate by providing citizens with unbiased and reliable information.
As of May 2019, the association is a member of the International Fact-Checking Network and partner to the Meta’s Third-Party Fact-Checking Program. We are also part of the European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO) fact-checking community.
We are members of the consortium that leads the European Fact-Checking Standards Network project that aims to build institutional framework for European fact-checking community.
