Reporters without Borders (RSF)

Reporters Without Borders (RSF) is an international non-profit organisation working to defend and promote the freedom, pluralism and independence of journalism. Working for more than 30 years, RSF has 14 bureaux worldwide, a network of correspondents in 134 countries and consultative status with the United Nations, the Council of Europe, the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie and the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights.

RSF works in all terrains and covers a wide range of activities such as field interventions, advocacy, investigation missions, and major initiatives to change the course of international law. Our action notably includes calling on governments, international organizations and decision-makers to denounce any attack on the freedom of information and press freedom. RSF also formulates legal recommendations to States and international bodies, and acts for the adoption of more protective standards.
